Chuck D, the founder of hip-hop group Public Enemy, will be speaking at UCSB today! His focus will be on the one year anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. On January 12, 2010, a 7.0 quake killed nearly 100,00 people, and left another one million homeless.
A candlelight vigil with Chuck D will begin at 4:30 p.m. at UCSB's Storke Plaza. The vigil will wrap up at 5:15 p.m. Chuck D will speak at 7:00 p.m. at UCSB's Corwin Pavilion.
